El Caporal Hall Open House Giveaway

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

2. Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater) as of the date of entry, and who attend the Open House in person.

Employees, officers, and owners of Sponsor, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members, are not eligible to enter or win.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. Entry Period

Entries will be accepted online only, beginning Monday, August 31, 2026 at 12:00 AM Central Time and ending Friday, October 9, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central Time (the "Entry Period"). Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. There is no on-site registration; entries will not be accepted at the event.

4. How to Enter

To enter, an eligible person must complete the registration form at https://elcaporalhall.com/giveaway/ in full, including name, date of birth, phone number, and email address, between August 31, 2026 and October 9, 2026.

Entry is free and no purchase is required.

Registration alone does not win the prize. To be eligible to win, a registered entrant must also:

  • Attend the Open House in person at El Caporal Hall, 7664 Farm to Market 1010 Rd, Cleveland, TX 77327, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, between 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM CT; and
  • Be physically present at the venue at 5:30 PM CT, when the drawing is held.

An entrant who registers but does not attend, or who leaves the venue before the drawing, cannot win. See Section 6.

Limit one (1) entry per person. Duplicate entries, entries submitted by any automated means, and entries containing incomplete or false information will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, garbled, or not received for any reason, including any failure of the website or any network.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive a celebration package consisting of:

  • Use of the hall for one event, for up to 150 guests
  • Tables and Chiavari chairs for up to 150 guests
  • Tablecloths
  • Chair bows / sashes
  • Table runners
  • Coolers
  • Kitchen area
  • Refrigerator
  • Charger plates
  • Throne chair
  • Decorations from Sponsor's inventory
  • Main table decoration
  • Cake table decoration
  • Photo album table / entry table
  • Photo easel
  • Final cleanup
  • Security

Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $6,000.

Total number of prizes: one (1). Total ARV of all prizes: $6,000.

Prize conditions

  • The prize is awarded as described above only. Anything not expressly listed is not included and is the winner's responsibility, including but not limited to guests beyond 150, which may be added at Sponsor's standard rate; catering, food and beverage, alcohol and any required TABC-licensed service, decorations beyond Sponsor's inventory, DJ or entertainment, and any required permits or insurance.
  • The event date must be booked by January 9, 2027 and held on or before October 11, 2028.
  • Dates are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. The following dates are excluded: any date on which Sponsor already has an event booked at the time the winner requests it.
  • The winner must sign Sponsor's standard rental agreement and comply with all venue rules and policies. A refundable damage or security deposit of $500 is required.
  • The prize is non-transferable, may not be sold or auctioned, and has no cash value. No substitution or cash equivalent will be provided except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
  • If the winner does not book and use the prize within the periods stated above, the prize is forfeited in full with no compensation.

6. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor at the venue on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at 5:30 PM Central Time.

MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. The selected entrant must be physically present at the venue at the time of the drawing and must present themselves to Sponsor's representative, with valid government-issued photo identification matching the name and date of birth on their entry, within five (5) minutes of their name being announced. The name will be announced two (2) times.

If the selected entrant is not present, does not come forward within the stated time, or cannot produce matching identification, that entry is disqualified and Sponsor will immediately draw another name. This process will repeat until a present, eligible entrant is identified.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. All decisions of Sponsor regarding entry eligibility, winner selection, and all other aspects of the Giveaway are final and binding.

7. Winner Notification and Claim

The winner will be announced in person at the venue at the time of the drawing. No other form of notification will be given, and Sponsor has no obligation to contact any entrant who is not present.

Before the prize is awarded, the winner must present valid government-issued photo identification and sign, on site, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where lawful) Publicity Release. An entrant who refuses or is unable to sign these documents forfeits the prize, and Sponsor may draw another name from among the remaining eligible entrants who are present.

If no eligible entrant claims the prize at the drawing, Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, award the prize to an entrant selected at random from all eligible entries or decline to award the prize at all.

8. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes the winner's consent for Sponsor to use the winner's name, city and state, photograph, voice, and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment, notice, or consideration.

9. Release of Liability

By entering, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, the owner of the venue, and their respective owners, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in the Giveaway, attendance at the Open House, or the acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of the prize.

10. Privacy

Information collected through the online registration form will be used by Sponsor to administer the Giveaway and to contact you about El Caporal Hall's services, events, and promotions. By entering, you agree that Sponsor may send you marketing emails about El Caporal Hall. Sponsor will not sell your information, and does not share it with third parties for their own marketing; it stays within El Caporal Hall. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, replying STOP to any text message, or emailing elcaporalhall@gmail.com. See Sponsor's Privacy Policy at https://elcaporalhall.com/privacy/.

By providing a phone number and separately opting in, you consent to receive calls and/or text messages from Sponsor at that number, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent to calls and text messages is optional and is not a condition of entry. Message and data rates may apply.

11. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner.

If the Giveaway cannot be conducted as planned due to any cause beyond Sponsor's reasonable control — including technical failure, fraud, or any event that corrupts the administration, security, or fairness of the Giveaway — Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Giveaway and to award the prize from among the eligible entries received prior to the action taken.

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of the Giveaway shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Liberty County, Texas.

By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.

12. Winner List

For the name of the winner, submit a request at https://elcaporalhall.com/giveaway/winner/ by December 10, 2026. The name will be sent to the email address given in the request.
