1. Who we are

2. What we collect

We only collect what you type into a form on this site, plus a little technical context:

• Booking enquiry (the contact form and the small contact panel): your name, phone number, email address, the type of event, the space you are interested in, the date, the guest count, and any message you write.
• Giveaway registration: your name, date of birth, phone number, email address, what you are celebrating (optional), your confirmations that you are 18 or older and agree to the Official Rules, your agreement to receive marketing emails, and whether you also opted in to texts and calls.
• Winner-name request: your email address and, if you give it, your name.
• With every submission: the page you sent it from, the language you were reading in, and your browser's user-agent string. We use these to keep spam out and to tell which form a message came from. We do not use cookies or analytics trackers.

3. How we use it

• To answer you. A booking enquiry is used to reply, quote and arrange your event.
• To run the giveaway. Registration details are used to enforce one entry per person, to confirm you are 18 or older, to check your ID against your entry at the drawing, to conduct and record the drawing, and to contact the winner. Your confirmations are kept as the record that you accepted the Official Rules.
• To tell you about El Caporal Hall. When you register for a giveaway you agree, by ticking the box, that we may email you about our events, services and promotions. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.
• Texts and calls about events and offers are sent only if you ticked the separate, optional box for them. Reply STOP to any text to stop them.
• To answer winner-name requests. The email address you give on that form is used to send you the winner's name, and for nothing else.

4. Who sees it

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. It stays within El Caporal Hall.

To run this website we use a few service providers who process the information on our behalf and under our instructions: Formspree (delivers form submissions to our inbox and filters spam), Google (Google Sheets stores our records and Gmail sends our email) and Hostinger (hosts the site). They may not use it for their own purposes.

We will disclose information if the law requires it, for example to comply with a court order.

5. How long we keep it

• Booking enquiries: for as long as we are in contact about the event, and afterwards in our records of past enquiries.
• Giveaway records: for as long as the Official Rules require us to be able to show how the drawing was conducted, and at least until the winner-list request period closes.
• Marketing contact details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.

6. Your choices

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in any email, or by emailing elcaporalhall@gmail.com.
• Stop texts by replying STOP to any message.
• See, correct or delete what we hold about you by emailing elcaporalhall@gmail.com. We will answer within a reasonable time. Note that we may need to keep giveaway records for the period described above even after you ask.

7. Children

This site and our giveaways are for adults. The giveaway is open only to people 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date below. The Official Rules of any giveaway link to this page, so the version in force is always the one published here.
